The Net Control Operator will activate the net at exactly 7:00 pm local time.

To help you communicate properly on FM radio repeaters, we strongly recommend that you click here for Repeater Etiquette.

Immediately after the 2 meter Net, the HF (high frequency) Net will be announced. The frequency will vary due to HF band conditions at the time. The HF Net will be in the General License Class portion of the HF band.

Even if you are a Technician Class License, we encourage you to tune in to the HCARC HF Net frequency and monitor the net. The discussion is less formal and usually longer in duration. Typical QSO can be of ham radio technical subjects and one can always learn something new.

Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. HCARC members are always willing to help. If they don't have the answer then they will try and find someone that does.  So, don't be timid about asking.
